Just add Stripes
A few weeks ago we introduced a bunch of new categories of product to our FashionArtProjects.com website and Walmart stores, one of which was Fabric Spray.
We have partnered with the Simply Spray® brand to bring you a collection of soft fabric paints and stencil sprays that can be used with our other Next Style™ products.
To learn tips and tricks to use the fabric spray, click on the image above to watch the video tutorial.
With this spray, you can colorize your clothing and accessories or create unique patterns and designs, such as the Zebra Stripes as on the above tank tops. To see step by step images on how to create this technique, click on the image above!
Off Center Screen Printed Tee
Sure, if a design is really cute, you want to make sure everyone sees it, front and center, right? But did you also consider using this same design in multiple areas and slightly askew for a unique look?
Here's a few quick tips to make the above tee, modeled by the beautiful, Stephanie.

Prepare the area by inserting a piece of cardboard inside the t-shirt. Stretch and flatten your t-shirt and use tape to secure it over this cardboard piece. In this case, we added the design on the shoulder, falling over towards the back of the t-shirt.

Peel the protective backing from the Zip Screen and press onto the t-shirt over the cardboard area. Tip: make sure to smooth and flatten the screen in ALL areas, especially those that might be slightly raised by the hem lines. **Any little raised area will cause the design to bleed and you won't get a clean print. Use tape to protect the surrounding area outside the Zip Screen.
Watch our How to use Zip Screens introduction video to see the basic application process with this system. Repeat this design in other areas of the t-shirt if desired. Allow to dry for at least 60 minutes.
After adding several Iron On Rhinestones in pink and silver, and heat setting with an iron for 3-5 minutes, you'll be ready to rock in this one of a kind off center screen printed tee! To find the full list of materials used on this design, click here.
Zip Screens™ Video Tutorials
So you've heard us talking about Zip Screens™ for a few weeks now, with our new homepage graphic (seen above), teaser video post and the intro to the spring products.
By now you must be wondering, what the heck ARE they? Zip Screens™ are a simple screen printing system you can create at home, which doesn't use a costly machine!
To make these screen printed graphics, you need 3 basic things: the screen, the paint, and a surface like a t-shirt or a tote bag. If that explanation didn't help, here's our newest video tutorial, where Stephanie teaches you how EASY it is to use these fun DIY materials!
If you were looking for additional ideas, especially on ways to use the smaller sized screens, watch this video tutorial here:
